Rules & Regulations

General Rules

$25 entry fee
Games will be 1 v 1 tournament style play
Gamerz will have the option to play on PS5 or Xbox X
Gamerz can bring own controller/headset to use if wish (PS5 and XBOX controllers are provided otherwise)
Gamerz can change any controller setting in game (controls will be set to default after each use)
The College Football 25 Tournament will take place on Saturday January 18th – Time is TBD (Tentative 10:00 AM)
Gamerz will be able to sign up ahead until January 15th, 2025. Then will check in will start around 9:00 am on Tournament Day.
No Cheating. Any form of cheating—including, but not limited to, hacking, exploiting glitches, or using unauthorized software—is strictly prohibited.
All participants must adhere to fair play and sportsmanship. Any form of harassment or abusive behavior will result in disqualification.
If a player disconnects, the match will continue. Points will be awarded based on the remaining player’s performance.

Tournament Rules

Gamerz may play with any one of the current 134 FBS teams from the game. There will be no legends teams or player created teams in the tournament.
Winner of coin toss will determine home/away team and choice of first or second team pick.
This will be played in tournament format –round robin or double elimination style will depend on number of players that sign up.
No pausing, rewinding, or delaying the game. If you perform these actions during the game, you must use a timeout as a penalty. If you have no timeouts remaining, you will be required to take a penalty (delay of game for offense, offside for defense) by deliberately performing the penalty. Failure to do so will result in automatic forfeit.
